Before installing it is recommended to clean the cup area from any rust or debris. Use a rubber mallet and not a hammer when installing. Simply turn your chair or table upside down on a blanket or piece of cardboard to prevent scratching. Line up the glide and use a rubber mallet to tap them in. Once they set in you can hit them in the rest of the way with some force. Sometimes using tape to hold the wrought iron chair leg caps in place helps to keep them level when installing. A ridge circling the outside of the outdoor chair glide insert will be shaved off when hit in the cup assuring a tight fit.
To bad my Odered the wrong size
So surprised how well they work thank you
The replacement sliders we bought for our patio chairs were easy to use and so far (about a week) seem to be high quality. So happy they don't fall out like the old ones did. Order arrived promptly as well.
The delux gliders are better than the regular ones. I regret ordering the white ones rather than the black, as my wroughjt iron table & chairs are black, so you see the white at the bottoms. Not a good look!!!!!!!.
