OLD CHAIRS - NEW GLIDES!!
I tried Several glides for my old wrought iron table and chairs, and none worked. But Project Patio sent me ones that fit really well. They were a little hard to hammer on (used rubber mallet), but once on, they stayed securely!! Always be sure to take the inside diameter measurement of your chair leg or the outside diameter measurement of the bottom of the leg. I did clean out the open bottom of the legs first, even sanded a few of them because then the glides hammered on easier. My table and chairs were 25 years old, so the bottom of those hard legs were a little rough- not brand new smooth. I’m so glad to have these glides; now my table and chairs move easily across the painted concrete :)
The caps for the wrought iron table & chairs are perfect!
I purchased the caps because they were 'raised' compared to the others and looked a little 'beefier.' The wrought iron pieces I own sit on pavement and get pushed or pulled around a LOT. I'm hoping these won't wear down as fast as the last round, which were basically flush with the bottom of the legs. It took me a bit to get them on, but after a few rounds of sitting in hot water, the last one FI-nally succumbed to the aid of a screwdriver and one good 'pound' of a mallet :)
Chair & table feet caps
These are the best and the deluxe caps for slightly more include small holes for moisture to escape. They look great and slide easily too. Wouldn’t use any others! Thanks!
11/2" furniture glides
Had no problem installing the glides. Just used a rubber mallet and they snapped right in. Seems like a nice and secure fit.
Perfect!
I Ordered the 1 1/2 weld on replacement leg slides. quick shipping, quality product and the best part is that i was able to repair my furniture for a fraction of what replacement cost would be. Thanks Project Patio.
